Ideas Don’t Matter - March 13 2025 - Harvard i Lab Workshop
Thank you for attending!
You were so engaging, we learned a lot from you! It’s clear we needed
- More time for your questions
- A better time plan so we can get to the interactive parts of the workshop for you to engage on your ideas. (We only got to one out of 5 planned exercises!)
- More time for examples from the real world to bring it to life (Again we only got to 10% of that content)
I also learned a lot from talking to those of you that stayed behind to ask questions for an hour afterwards. I hope you will now find more pointers below and in the startupsecretssandbox.com
Slides from yesterday’s workshop
Last night was as I said an MVP test of some new material in response the ILab and Becca prompting the need to address the Idea→Customer gap.
Next steps
(items in blue are links into the Startup Secrets Sandbox)
The logical next step from building your customer compass and answering the questions we raised last night is to DEFINE the Problem or Opportunity . I would at a minimum suggest you start by determining whether your problem is
4U : Unworkable, Unavoidable, Urgent, and Underserved. All of this is covered in the
Customer Value Proposition module and workshop.
And if you want some help, try our Customer Value Proposition AI . You can begin with your idea and it will help you formulate your value proposition.
